Dial Telecom a.s., a leading Czech provider of data and voice services, has recently made extensive investments in the development of national and metropolitan optical networks and in connecting office buildings and business centres. The investment of almost one hundred million crowns has also affected the increase of existing capacities and network security. Despite the unfavourable economic situation due to Covid 19, Dial Telecom continues to think about its customers, innovate technologies and expand its services.

Dial Telecom has only recently set up over 70 new connection points to its optical network in Prague and Brno, mainly important or newly-built office buildings, but also business centres and other companies. Companies based at these addresses can use a number of high-quality customized data and voice services, including special services such as a data circuit for companies, Lambda, their own broadband Internet connection and a number of other individual settings.

Newly connected important centres and buildings
There are especially important centres in Prague, such as Shopping and Office Centre Havlíčková Plaza, PARKVIEW office building, RUSTONKA II office building in Libeň, Slovanský dům business center, KOTELNA PARK office building – stage II, the multifunctional FLOW BUILDING on Wenceslas Square, AFI CITY office building and, last but not least, the industrial zone Areál Letov in Letňany, Prague.

In Brno, companies can use Dial Telecom’s services newly in buildings Nová Zbrojovka, CTPark – Buildings C+D+E, Mošnov – MultiModal Park, Šumavská Tower, Šumavská 31 – Building B, BC Moravské náměstí 754/13 – Moravák, Ostrava – Skelet, CTP Ponávka - CTzone – Škrobárenská 5, Campus Science Park - Palachovo náměstí 799/5, NC Okružní, OC Kaštanová.

In Pilsen, it is Panasonic, U Panasoniku 1068/1.

Special data and voice services for companies in buildings
Thanks to the optical networks, Dial Telecom can provide companies based in these office centres with internet, as well as data and voice services comparable to the world´s best.

Resistance to eavesdropping, chemistry and electromagnetic smog
In general, the transmission speed of an optical network can be limited by the type of CPE used, rather than by the network itself. In addition to the higher transmission capacity, it has a number of other advantages over the metallic network. These are mainly electromagnetic immunity, operational safety, resistance to eavesdropping, high operational reliability, and the mechanical and chemical resistance of optical cables.

Dial Telecom's metropolitan networks currently offer high transmission capacities in multiples of 10 Gb (n x 10 Gb). They are connected to the Dial Telecom backbone network in the Czech Republic and at the same time to almost all existing networks abroad.

From building a route to the customer to guaranteed services
Dial Telecom provides complex services in these areas: from building a route to the customer, through CPEs to guaranteed Internet access. Dial Telecom’s own backbone and metropolitan optical networks make it possible to set up connections with the highest possible quality, and especially at high capacities. Moreover, at a very attractive price.Technologies using the optical network as the basic transmission layer are most often based on DWDM or CWDM. Above the basic infrastructure, Dial Telecom operates an extensive IP MPLS network, a network based on L2 Ethernet and an SDH network for synchronous transmissions - especially voice.

Optical network as a convergence medium of the future
Dial Telecom began building the metropolitan network in Prague after 2000 and annually invests considerable resources in its further development. The fixed connection of clients with an optical cable, run safely under the ground, enables high speed and any data and voice connection transmission capacity, as well as simplicity and savings in operating and investment costs. The metropolitan optical network copies the construction of office premises in Prague.

Thanks to the constant deployment of new technologies on its networks, Dial Telecom also continues to strengthen its position as one of the main Czech innovators who can implement the latest technologies very quickly and offer them to their customers. Thanks to this approach, the company is one of the significant Central European operators of high-speed data lines and one of the long term preferred transit partners of foreign operators.
